MINTERIOR DESIGN – DUNCANVILLE
I’m so thrilled that the Mint Dentistry office in Duncanville is now open! Everyone at Mint is so excited that we are expanding to new places! Our motto at Mint is that we aim to provide the best possible dental service to our amazing patients at the most affordable cost. We also offer free teeth whitening with PPO Dental Insurance! It’s the best!
As you may know, I am the interior designer for all of the Mint Dentistry offices. When I got the blueprints for this space, I already knew that I wanted it to be completely different than any of the offices I have ever done! Normally, I work with one piece of furniture, and plan the rest of the office around it. However, this time, I designed the office based on the wallpaper! My friends at Living Modern have many gorgeous wallpaper designs to choose from. While looking through their catalogue, I knew I wanted to incorporate a few of them in an upcoming office. Duncanville was the perfect choice.
I found two that I really loved. The main sitting area has an intricate black and white wallpaper that is so fun. I also found this amazing navy and silver wallpaper to put on another wall. My whole idea was to have bold walls to give more of a boutique hotel vibe. My goal is that when people walk into the office, they realize that this is definitely not an average dentist office! This is Mint! Our culture is stylish, so our offices should reflect that! From the walls to the rug, I wanted this office to showcase our signature aesthetic.
Seeing that the wallpapers and rug that I used had such a cool geometric patterns, I decided I wanted everything else to be sleek and modern. I found this amazing crown art piece that breaks up the main wallpaper perfectly.
This deep blue couch stood out on its own and complimented the office space completely. I decided to have navy, black, chrome, and white all throughout the office.
My favorite part of this office has to be the kid’s section! I decided to use a white chest and a few storage spaces and fill them with toys for our smallest patients! These toys are some of my kids favorite things to play with, so I thought incorporating them would help all of our parents with little ones have a better experience overall. We also painted a big whiteboard wall for the kids to write on! They are guaranteed to love it!
When it comes to decorating, don’t be afraid to make a statement! Be bold with wallpapers and tie it all in with furniture that you love!
