When it comes to fashion influence, I have always been drawn to urban street style.  Whether it be from people watching in New York City, or famous fashion blogs from London, I have always been intrigued with the way people present themselves.

Now, when I think of true street style, I always think of people who wear lavish and outrageous outfits in order to be seen. Throughout the years, I have learned how to have an urban aesthetic while keeping it simple.

I’ve never described my style as ultra feminine.  Even when I was younger, I remember not really gravitating towards super girly shades of pink.  Now that I’m a mom, I find myself buying Camila really cutesy things, but I have a feeling she will quickly grow out of it.  If anything, I would describe my style as edgy, yet put together

These shoes from Ruthie Davis reflect just that! They have a strong edge about them, however they go with practically everything! They really are some of my favorites! I also absolutely love this sporty crop top.  I bought it a long time ago, and sadly it’s not available online anymore, but I found something really similar to it!

The trick to wearing a crop top is partnering it with high waisted pants, skirts, or shorts. I personally think women of all shapes and sizes can wear crop tops in a classy way. The best way to know when the crop top is appropriate is when it hits right at your true waist.  Pair it with a bodycon pencil skirt that hits just below your knees. Also, layering it with a blazer, light bomber jacket, or sweater like the one I’m wearing is ideal!

These cute high waisted pants have a tie waist that I love.  It’s so simple and easy and make a statement.  They look like leather but feel so comfortable! I love them!

When it comes to street style, keep it simple! You can’t go wrong!

Sabrina
