TOURIST ATTRACTION

My husband I recently went to Spain on vacation.  I took plenty of photos and can’t wait to share them with you on my website soon! Before heading out there, I knew that we would spend most of our days exploring all the breathtaking Spanish sites that I have always dreamed of seeing!

When planning for such a trip, I knew that I would have to pack accordingly. We would be doing a lot of walking, and the last thing I would want is to be uncomfortable. I checked the weather beforehand and knew that it would be hot throughout our trip. I packed a lot of shorts and dresses because I simply did not want to be hot.

I wanted outfits that were stylish while going out sightseeing. I love this dress I picked up at a boutique in Canada. It’s got a slim, curve-hugging fit that’s great for layering under sweaters or light jackets, and a high neckline that works just as well for nighttime as it does for the day. It is so comfortable and light. And with a simple shoe change, I could easily take this dress to a fun romantic dinner when the day is over.

I grabbed one of Field’s old plaid shirts and wrapped it around my waist.  It came in handy if we ever went inside a cold museum and I needed something to keep warm.  There’s something so fun about wearing oversized clothes.

To top it all off, I am totally obsessed with this denim baseball cap. It is so easy to wear and goes with so much.  It is the perfect thing to add to your casual day outfit.  I also can’t get enough of the choker trend that everyone is wearing. I found this one for under $20! You definitely need to get it!

This outfit is simple and very affordable. It’s a perfect way to stay looking cool while feeling fresh in the summer!
