2020 has been a year for the books! A global pandemic, having to learn how to teach my kids school online, and trying to discover what our new “normal” as a family will be like each day. But through it all—God has been so faithful and I cannot thank Him enough for the blessings this year has brought, even in the chaos and unknown!
I was able to celebrate my 39th birthday with my family this year and having to have such a small gathering made me so humbled and grateful for every person and blessing in my life. Thank you to Perfectly Timed Events for making my “small” family gathering so perfectly memorable (as always!).
Since we couldn’t travel, we brought Costa Rica’s “Pura Vida” theme to our backyard for a pool party accompanied by balloons, palm trees, bounce houses, sand volleyball games, a taco line, and fresh aguas frescas juices. I enjoyed every part of this day—from the volleyball games to the conversations to watching the kids run back and forth from the pool to the bounce houses. The weather was perfect and I couldn’t have asked for anything more!
My greatest blessings in life are the people God has placed in my path. He wrote my story before the beginning of time and knew every person I would need along the way. I’m so grateful for every single person who has covered me in prayer, encouraged me, and blessed me in any way, ever. YOU are my greatest gift—and I will never stop thanking God for you and every minute of this journey He has set us on.
God will get every drop of the glory in my story—this year, and every year I am blessed to have that is to come!
Here’s to 39 and to all the people in my life who make it so incredibly blessed! I hope and pray we will ALL be able to celebrate TOGETHER soon!
