Hey, East Dallas! MINT Dentistry just opened our newest location in Terrell, Texas! Terrell is a beautiful city located 30 miles east of downtown Dallas in Kaufman County with many bookstores, coffee shops, and now—a MINT Dentistry!
When you walk through our doors you’ll be greeted with a smile and ushered into our luxurious waiting area. This office building is long and narrow so we found creative ways to add plenty of comfortable and chic seating options for you to enjoy as you wait for your appointment to begin.
The first is our living room seating area with a plush gray velvet couch paired with two black and white artistic zebra pattern inspired armchairs. I love pairing different modern patterns and textures together and this space was no exception—I tied in a starburst lined large black area rug and used our signature MINT leaf wallpaper as a backdrop.
We painted the parallel walls matte black and added our custom “WE MAKE SEXY TEETH” neon sign above the couch to center the space. I love the detail of the abstract metal legs on the glass coffee table (I set some reading material here for you to look through while you’re waiting!). I love how the metal pairs perfectly with the white granite end tables and lamps on both ends of the couch.
Ceiling fixtures can add so much to the interior design elements of a room—especially those with high ceilings. In this space, I chose a modern barred chandelier to add an artistic element to this area and to tie the room together.
We added a small seating area between the main waiting room and the front desk to provide a natural flow from one end of the room to the other. I love how simple yet elegant this light gray upholstered bench is and how it fits so beautifully under our MINT photo wall featuring our incredible patients, staff, and MINT models!
Finally, enjoy a seat right next to the front desk in one of our plush black and white oversized swivel armchairs nestled under my favorite piece in this office—the black modern full-length mirror! I picked these chairs because they are as comfortable as they are chic and the mirror tied them together perfectly. Enjoy!
