My baby turned 4 years old this month! I can hardly believe how time has flown. Both of my babies are growing up so fast, and I am enjoying every minute I can with them before they start school in a few weeks!
After returning from a wonderful trip to Colorado last week, we threw Field Christian a fun, poolside birthday party with his friends and family members. He is ALL about the game of basketball right now. He practices shooting and dribbling all day long, and spends all of his free time with Dallas Elite Athletics–so a basketball themed party seemed like the obvious choice!
There were basketball plates, napkins, a basketball cake, basketball cupcakes (made of funfetti and vanilla), basketball sugar cookies, and blue and orange Gatorade bottles everywhere. We even gave him a new basketball for his birthday engraved with, “Field’s 4th Birthday” so he will always remember this special year!
The kids played pool games and swam for hours, only stopping for breaks to eat cake and snacks. We ordered Steel City Pops Popsicles for a sweet treat for the kids (and adults of course!) and food from Two Sisters Catering (so yummy!).
We gave basketball themed party favors to all the kids including: miniature trophies, treat boxes, and whistles (sorry parents *grin*). Scarborough Specialties even made us custom-made jerseys! Baby Field loves his cousins and friends. I am so happy he was able to celebrate his birthday with them in such a special way. We love him so much!
