My days are constantly packed with meetings and being on the go. Because of this, I am always wanting to wear outfits that reflect my mood. For those that know me, you know that I try my hardest every single day to be a good steward over every blessing entrusted to me . When I am at work, I am in work mode and when I am home, I am in mommy mode. My kids are getting older so my day begins with dropping Baby Field off at school. I can’t believe my babies are getting so big, so fast. How time flies!
Things get so busy at Mint, so when it comes to my outfits, I want to wear business casual attire that is still fun and chic. This is where blazers come in. I love the idea of taking a very masculine piece and finding ways to make it your own. This blazer is amazing. I love the pinstripe details along with the tan suede elbow patches. Mostly, I am drawn to the fit of the blazer. I have noticed that many designers tend to over crop women’s blazers and fit higher on the waist. I love where this one falls.
Blazers are so easy to pair with different outfits. You can easily wear this with a dress or romper. I wore this with a white bodysuit underneath so that the top portion wouldn’t move around or get too frumpy. You should consider this when putting the outfit together. These light wash jeans are some of my personal favorites.
If I were working in an industry where distressed denim was inappropriate, I would easily exchange these jeans for a darker denim without any holes in them. Adding an easy pair of nude pumps adds such style to the overall look of your outfit. I didn’t want to wear flashy shoes because to me, this outfit was all about the blazer. If you walk to work or have to run errands throughout the day, a cool pair of sneakers would look just as great! The possibilities are endless.
