This week, we celebrated my beautiful daughter’s 2nd birthday. I can hardly believe two years have gone by since Camila was born. She is growing up so quickly, and I love her more and more each day!
We hosted her party at the Lakewood Country Club with a few close friends and family members. It was the perfect location and a perfect day for a birthday party! I called my friend Priscilla Trevino to help me plan the perfect birthday party! Priscilla is the founder of Perfectly Timed Events and she previously planned Field’s Great Gatsby Party!
Camila has been very interested in animals lately, so we hired a face-painting crew from Fun Time Entertainment to paint the children’s faces in different animal styles and colors. They all loved it, and it was so cute to see baby Field roaring around the party as a little tiger! We also had henna options for the kids (and the adults enjoyed that too!).
The kids (and adults) also enjoyed balloon art, caricatures, party favors and of course, birthday cake from Cakes by Alicia. We hired DJ ACE to provide the music and entertainment for the day, and he made it so fun! He was a seven year old DJ who was trained by my favorite go to DJ- Jay Clipp! Seriously he is so talented! You should definitely consider signing your kid up for his DJ Academy!
I was so impressed by the balloons at Field’s birthday party a few weeks ago, I hired Biel Events again for Camila’s. I was not disappointed! I love how they use their designs to turn a simple room into an elegant and extraordinary party space.
Lastly, I didn’t want to host my little girl’s birthday party without an overwhelming amount of succulents and roses. I ordered these from JP Florist, and they really brought the room alive and made the party feel girly and special.
I am so blessed to be Camila’s mommy. Each day, I speak God’s promises over her life praying she will grow up singing the praises of God and knowing she is beautiful and so deeply loved. Camila is the joy of my heart and I cannot wait to see what God has in store for her future!
