Gatsby |gat-spʌɪ| noun 1 a 1925 romantic novel by F. Scott Fitzgerald: Oh, Great Gatsby!

We took a step back in time this weekend to the roaring twenties to celebrate Field’s 36th birthday! From the gold plated birthday cake to the blackjack tables, cigars and show girls–everything and everyone in the room was decked out in 1920’s attire!

1920’s fashion is considered to be one of the most glamorous decades in history, and our guests did not disappoint! The men were dressed to impress with brimmed hats, suspenders, suits and ties. The ladies wore lavish costumes of fur, feathers, flapper dresses, pearls, head pieces, jewels and gowns. It was such fun party!

We would not have been able to pull off such an incredible event without the help of Priscilla Trevino and Perfectly Timed Events. Priscilla organized and managed all of the food, decor, entertainment, and all the tiny details that make every gathering absolutely splendid! Thank you Priscilla! You can reach her at priscilla@perfectlytimedevents.com for your next event!

When guests arrived they were greeted by the valet with a red carpet and a photo opp next to a vintage Rolls Royce. They were ushered up to the party by beautiful flapper girls dressed from head to toe in perfect 1920’s attire, found at Dallas Costume World.

Upon entering the party, guests were welcomed by entertainment ranging from an incredible magician to Blackjack tables, a 1920’s Photo Booth experience, hand-rolled cigars, bartenders and food galore. The music was perfect and the dance floor was never empty because DJ Clipp knows how to keep a party going!

From white roses to diamond chandeliers, balloons and flowers hanging from the ceilings made beautifully by Biel Events, the house was completely whited-out and filled with gold decor. Even Field’s delicious cake stood out as one of my favorite decorations in the room! The custom-made wallpaper down the main hallway was made by Dallas Mural.  It made for the perfect photo shoot backdrop! Also,  I loved the monogrammed emblem graphic created by my friend, Holly Hunt. If you would like your own custom graphic design, you can reach her at holly@designedfromthevine.com.  She did such an amazing job that we used our initials everywhere: from the door decal to another statement wall in the living area!

Thank you to everyone who came out to make this night so special for my incredible husband, Field! I adore you, and know this is going to be your best year yet!!

Special thanks to Eric Escobedo and Rowell Geolin for capturing all of these beautiful images–I will cherish them forever!
