Life takes a huge toll on our skin. Maintaining our body’s overall health is crucially important because our complexion significantly affects our physical appearance, either making us look tired and dull or lively and vibrant. Our skin is affected by every aspect of our lives, from what we eat to the amount of stress we feel. Healthy skin is more able to avoid signs of ageing, and improves our physical appearance. We need to take care of it!
When wearing makeup every day for work, photo shoots and events, keeping my skin in good condition can be difficult. But, I have found a skincare regimen that works wonders for me, and I wanted to share it with you!
Natura Bisse
Natura Bisse is a skincare line that originated in the Spanish beauty market, and began selling in the states in the early 90’s. They are famous for using hydrolysed elastin and collagen proteins to considerably improve our skin’s texture, providing incredible anti-aging results.
I absolutely love this line, and love even more that the first subsidiary in the United States is housed right up the street from me at the Northpark Neiman Marcus.
Natura Bisse has grown, and is sold at many luxury stores and spas across the globe. However, Dallas and San Francisco are the only two United States stores that provide the in-store spa experience through the Barcelona room. Another reason I love Dallas!
My Favorite Products
My absolute favorite product from Natura Bisse is their Glyco Extreme Peel. This is an exfoliating treatment that will will give you similar results to a chemical peel, but renews the complexion in a way that is completely safe for the skin. I love the way my skin looks right after this at-home treatment. I feel like my skin is glowing!
I also love The Cure Sheer Fluid. I use this after my moisturizer as an SPF-20 sunscreen and color corrector. It is completely oil-free, and hydrates skin throughout the day while minimizing fine lines and wrinkles. (If you struggle with oily skin, this is a great product for you, as it helps to control excess oil and shine!)
The Diamond White Glowing Mask calms, lightens and soothes your skin while working to restore elasticity and pigmentation. I leave this mask on for 20 minutes 2-3 times per week in the evening while I get ready for bed, or before I go out for an event or dinner party.
Our eyes are our most distinguishing feature. But as we age, they can be overshadowed by unwanted wrinkles and dark circles. The Intense Eye and Lip Cream renews the skin around the eyes, hydrating the skin’s cells. This is a great product for moms of toddlers–I can attest to that! *grin*
When I have breakouts, I use the Essential Shock Intense Retinol Fluid. This is a hydrating, anti-aging serum with retinol. It clears my skin of any unwanted blemishes, while still working to soften lines and wrinkles. It makes my skin feel super soft and smooth!
