OVERALL OBSESSION
The homage to the 1990’s has made a huge impact in the world of fashion! I am so obsessed with this trend because it is reminiscent of what style was like growing up. It looks as though 90’s fashion is here to stay for a while.
When considering ways to wear overalls, the common way to wear them is to stick to a casual, on the go look. However, there are many ways that you can wear a pair of classic overalls. You can style them with a pair of simple sneakers or put a leather jacket over them for a grungier look, or even throw on a floppy hat and sandals for a relaxed and easy outfit. You can also dress them up and make them have a very polished and stylish appearance.
I chose to add a few feminine accessories to dress my overalls up. I styled these with a fun pair of studded heels. My overalls from Free People have a great fit to them. I tend to not like pieces that are too baggy on me. The fit on these are tapered which makes the look more flattering and elongates my legs!
I wore this leather baseball cap and maroon choker that gives it a sportier look. I can easily take the hat off and it elevates the outfit. This maroon crossbody ties it all together, in my opinion.
Today is Labor Day and I feel like this is the perfect outfit to wear throughout the day. We are spending it as a family and are about to head to lunch together. It’s totally comfortable and chic.
