There is nothing quite like New York City, especially during fashion week. I attended this year with my dear friend and stylist, Kristin Smith of The CLAD Life.
The art of people watching is raised to the highest level as the fashion forward march through the city wearing streetwear that is eye catching. I love seeing how people combine vintage pieces with modern designers.
We stayed at the Gramercy Park Hotel off Lexington Ave—the perfect Manhattan location to go and come from shows, shopping and site seeing. If you ever head to New York City, I strongly recommend you staying there for a few nights! Also, we went to eat at Public Kitchen for dinner and it was incredible! Definitely a new favorite!
We were invited to various fashion events including Zac Posen, Alice and Olivia, Rosie Assoulin, and Carolina Herrera.  This year, I couldn’t go the entire week as I originally wanted to, so we had to miss a couple of shows. However, I was so honored to attend Carolina Herrera.  This was Carolina Herrera’s final show and it was amazing to see so many people celebrating her iconic inspiration and the incredible influence she has had on the fashion industry.
I also LOVED the Alice and Olivia presentation.  This year’s theme was Empowered Women Empower Women. It celebrated strong females from the past and gave them all a modern and beautiful aesthetic. We visited Zac Posen’s personal Fashion House and saw how he conceptualizes and creates his beautiful designs. It was so inspiring to be surrounded by such artistry in the midst of Fashion Week.
Here are a few photos from our trip! Hope you enjoy!
