MY OVERSIZED COAT
Recently on a trip to Mexico, a friend and I stepped into H&M and noticed this awesome oversized kimono type jacket. I immediately fell in love with this piece and was already picturing a thousand outfits in my head.
I love how oversized this coat is. There are rules when wearing oversized clothing that everyone should know. The trick is to find pieces that don’t look too bulky. These pieces should accentuate your figure as opposed to hiding it. If it isn’t cold enough to wear oversize outerwear, drape the coat over your shoulders for the perfect transitional outfit. Most oversized clothing has a masculine vibe so trying to wear ultra feminine pieces will elevate your outfit.
I love wearing monochromatic colors. All white will always look chic and sophisticated. This white silk bodysuit paired with white pants makes for a very sleek outfit. I wore one of my favorite necklaces from our jewelry line, Magela Blanco. My talented friend, Leti Lackey designed this beautiful stacked necklace and will be available to everyone very soon. The gold makes the white pop and gives an overall fresh look.
Remember, when it comes to clothes, bigger isn’t always better. But when oversized pieces are strategically paired with other things, you are bound to look amazing! Try it!
