I recently stumbled upon this amazing duster coat and was so excited to wear it with many different looks. A duster coat is a woman’s loose, lightweight, full-length coat without buttons. It replicates a style originally worn in the 1920s when traveling in an open car. Nowadays, you will see these coats paired with slip dresses, jeans and sneakers, etc. My favorite thing about duster coats is they are cozy and keep you warm! Plus, they always look chic in my opinion.
I wore it with this really cute silver overlay dress. This dress is interesting, seeing that there are thumbhole cut outs. I feel like the cutouts gives it an athletic, casual vibe even though the dress looks like a party dress. You don’t have to wear it with the thumbholes, simply roll up the sleeves and no one will know! It came with a black slip dress to wear underneath. You can totally wear this dress with a cute fur shawl like this one to dress it up more.
I paired the outfit with these amazing silver booties from Schutz. I swear this line is becoming a favorite of mine. All of their shoes are so sexy and comfortable! In a previous post, I wore these amazing lace up, over the knee boots in tan that I think everyone should own!
This outfit to me is simple yet fun! I wore this cute mauve velvet choker to finish the ensemble. I wore this to a party with girlfriends over the holidays. You should sport it too!
