Haircare is one of the most essential parts of your beauty regimen. Finding the right products that work best for your hair can take some time, so I wanted to share some of my favorite finds with you. I discovered Oribe about 2 years ago, and haven’t used anything else since. These are the products that I use every day in my own haircare routine. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do!
Signature Shampoo and Conditioner
The Oribe shampoo and conditioner were the first products I tried, and they completely sold me on the entire brand. I’ve tried several kinds, and my favorite ones are: Brilliance & Shine, Gold Lust Repair & Restore, and the Beautiful Color Collection. I love the way my hair feels after using these products, and I know it all starts with the shampoo and conditioner combo.
Gold Lust Nourishing Hair Oil
This product is famously nicknamed, “liquid gold”–and for good reason! I use this hair oil to restore my hair after the daily damage it undergoes through blow drying, straightening and curling. I love this leave-in conditioner, because it nourishes and strengthens my hair, while smoothing my frizz and flyaways. I usually add a pump of this to my hair before blow-drying to protect my hair from the heat and to add extra shine.
Maximista Thickening Spray
Everything’s bigger in Texas, especially our hair *grin*. My hair tends to be very fine, but I love the big-hair look. This product allows me to gain the thickness and texture that I desire without weighing my hair down. I apply this thermal-protective body building spray to my roots before blow-drying my hair. Use a round brush to lift up and away at the roots of your hair while blow-drying for maximum volume.
Dry Texturing Spray
This texturing spray is famous for the “5 Minute Beach Waves” style by Deepica Mutyala on TODAY.com. I love this spray because it adds volume and texture to flat hair, while absorbing unwanted oil. It makes such a difference in the look of my hair–allowing me to keep the style for days without having to wash my hair. (Beauty secret: It’s best to wash your hair every 2-3 days, if possible, to allow your natural oils to replenish your hair so your ends don’t over-dry.) I also use this product as a “dry shampoo.”
Superfine Hair Spray
We love our hairspray in Texas, and this one is my absolute favorite. It has a flexible, medium-hold designed to keep your hairstyle all day long, yet leaves your hair looking shiny and soft. I spray this on my hair after curling or straightening, and then brush it out to complete the look.
I love the entire Oribe haircare line, but this award-winning hairspray is probably the first I would try if you are new to using their products. It won’t disappoint!
