MINTERIOR DESIGN – SUGARLAND
Mint Dentistry is opening a new office in Houston! This time, we are proudly serving the community in Sugarland, Texas! The name alone sounds so pleasant and sweet! I was so excited to get started on this office. My creative process is always different when decorating an office. I am constantly inspired with interior design ideas. However, if you know me, you know that I am a major planner. If you see me on my phone typing away, it’s not because I am on Instagram. I usually am writing ideas down and strategizing how to make those ideas become a reality.
While deciding how I would decorate Sugarland, I knew that I wanted the office to be clean and minimal but with a luxurious twist. I wanted to stick to a black, white, gray and chrome color scheme. To me, the absence of color makes things look chic and modern. It gives your space a spa like feel and brings the Mint experience to a whole new level.
Everything in the office coordinates well with each other. This amazing marble coffee table was the first piece I pulled that inspired me to complete this office. I knew I wanted a black tufted couch with silver details to compliment the room. Another piece that stands out to me is the Houston skyline art that hangs above the couch. This is the focal point of the room and works perfectly with the entire office. At first, I was worried that the art might seem too small for the wall. The easiest solution was to find tall lamps that worked with the proportion of the office. I loved the way it turned out.
These chrome cube ottomans are some of my favorites. The silver texture is amazing and they are really comfortable to sit in. I make it a point that there should be plenty of seating for all of our amazing patients. The last thing I want is for people to stand around in the waiting room. These tiny cubes are perfect if the office is full and you are waiting your turn.
The location is so convenient and I’m praying that we will be able to treat as many people as possible in this area.
