Since opening our doors in 2009, MINT dentistry has been at the forefront of change in the dental industry—and we’re not stopping yet. Now, through PURE Dental Academy, we are offering the highest standard of dental assisting training in as little as six weeks (at a much lower cost than other dental assisting schools).
We pride ourselves in having small class sizes, hands-on training, convenient day and evening class times, and an opportunity to enter the MINT dentistry externship and job placement after program completion.
But I’m also super proud of our creative team for the MINTerior design of this brand new location!
Black marble was my inspiration for the PURE Dental Academy space—so we predominantly used blacks, whites, and grays throughout the office—with small splashes of intentional color. Using these neutral tones creates a pure and clean presence while choosing different textures allows for more moment and a more modern overall feel.
We started by choosing a black matte wallpaper with bold laser white stripes for the backdrop of all that would be added to the room. The gray boxed couch was another statement piece—neutral in color, but not in design. I love how the straight line ivory and black patterns in the area rug tie into the same ivory and black blocked texture of the statement pillows on the couch.
The unique black and white Dallas-based photography framed above the couch were chosen to highlight iconic areas of our beautiful city from the downtown skyline to the Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge.
One of my favorite pieces in this office is the coffee table we chose—a small black marble cube. I love how the chic shape acts as an art piece all of its own—still staying within the color pallet of the office space. This is also where we chose to add a splash of hot pink color through a floral arrangement to break from the black and white design.
