This office was super fun to decorate, starting with a brand new black and white-crowned wallpaper design.
I love playing with different patterns of blacks, whites, and grays—so the wallpaper was a perfect backdrop for the plush light gray cushioned sofa, statement pillows, the black and white boxed area rug, and the matching armchairs. These stunning black velvet chairs with acrylic arms were an incredible find. I love the design—and how comfortable they are for our guests!
With a neutral color palette, we will often add metallics through mixed metals to create a modern aesthetic. In this space, we chose to stick with gold.
Along with the gold, we added a touch color to this office with some MINT green palm leaves. I think this pop of color gives this space just what it needs! Small items can make a big difference in any room—just like the books, hourglass, and centurion-inspired vase used as centerpieces on the table.
But my favorite piece in this office is actually one of the bigger pieces—the oversized gold vintage mirror centered above the couch. It highlights the gold base of the white granite coffee table, lamps, and the smaller gold pieces on the end tables and hourglass. Larger mirrors can also double the appearance of any room—so in this smaller space, it was a perfect choice. Plus, it’s a truly fabulous piece that I can’t wait for you to see!
