MINTERIOR DESIGN – DALLAS

As the interior designer of Mint Dentistry, it is my job to always conceptualize new and creative concepts to keep our brand fresh and innovative.  As we expand our horizons and enter into new cities, I am always thinking of ways to make things better.  I recently went in for a cleaning to the office that is most convenient for me. This happens to be the Mint Dallas location which is right off of Mockingbird on 75.  While I waited in the lobby, I noticed that I wanted to give this office a little touch up.  My mind already began to wander of countless ways to improve the look of the space.

This office means so much to me because it is the original Mint.  My husband, Dr. Field Harrison started his practice at this very location.  It was here, where all the dreaming started.  He was committed to serving as many people as possible with affordable and exceptional dentistry. I remember countless times, coming into this office with him after it was closed, and praying for God to direct our steps. Since then, we have hired hundreds of employees, and have served thousands of outstanding patients.

Seeing that this place has such sentimental value to us, I decided to spend some time renovating it. First, I went to my friends at Dallas Mural and came up with a plan.  Together, we created a custom wallpaper that looks like marble. You may have seen the custom wallpaper they created for me in our Plano Office!  I specifically wanted a muted color palette so that the office looks soothing and comforting to everyone that walks in.  I want it to look like an expensive boutique you would walk into if you were in Beverly Hills.  That’s the style of Mint Dentistry: we give our patients a VIP experience from the moment they walk in, until the time they step out.

My color scheme was white, chrome, gray, and a touch of blue! I absolutely love these blue chairs that are on a chrome pedestal. They are so modern but yet so incredibly comfy for anyone that is sitting in them. I broke up a lot of the white and silver colors in the room by adding plenty of black pieces. The hints of black separate everything and adds dimension to the space. This chandelier is from Living Modern!  If you are in the Dallas area and are looking to buy furniture, I highly recommend them. They are amazing! Did you know that some of our massages to those that are in the waiting room?  I recently got one and it was amazing! If you see a masseuse at your next appointment, make sure to get one while you wait! Thank me later!

I love the chrome accents from this office as well. The backs of these chrome and white leather chairs are so impressive, I wanted them to be one of the first things you notice when you walk in to the lobby. They make such a statement, but compliment the rest of the office very effortlessly.  I also love the mirror that hangs above the couch. It ties the whole room together in my opinion. Here’s a secret: That big mirror that you see is actually 6 identical pieces that I put together to make one major focal point!  I also LOVE this custom Dallas skyline acrylic piece that you see the moment you walk in! It pays homage to the city that we all love: Dallas!

My son, Field Christian, decided to join mama and her team while we worked on this space! It was so cute asking him where I should put some of the decor! He’s got an eye for detail!
