MINTERIOR DESIGN – ALIEF
I was so happy to revamp the already beautiful office known as: MINT Alief! I remember the excitement I had when I first decorated this space. This was when Mint Dentistry was expanding to the Houston metroplex and Alief was one of our very first offices in the area! Catering to the dental needs of West Houston, we wanted to design an office that was inviting and warm.
Recently, on a trip to the Super Bowl, Field and I stopped inside this office to meet some of our amazing patients. When I walked in, I knew that I wanted to add a few pieces to redecorate this space. Whenever you own an office, typical wear and tear of furniture will happen. This is inevitable and something to prepare for as time progresses. Luckily for us, I keep a steady inventory in our storage for situations like this.
I brought in a new couch and it was the new focal point of the office. The deep blue color scheme was calling my name. I decided to accentuate the details with silver and chrome pieces. These lamps are seriously some of my favorite pieces in this office. The diamond design is not only architecturally pleasing, but it also opens up the space, making the room to appear larger.
I love mixing black, white, blue, and silver. This color palette is so appealing to me and always looks fresh whenever I use it. I love these black chairs that have an intricate chrome back. They are such a statement piece and look great. I’ve been looking forward to using them since I purchased them.
My goal with Mint offices is to make our patients feel like they are not in a typical dentist office. I remember growing up being afraid to go to the dentist. However, I have learned that if you make the entrance as visually pleasing as possible, it relaxes everyone who walks into the room. It no longer is just another dentist appointment but now it is an experience to remember. At Mint, we pride ourselves in having the best dentists that are ready to help you in all areas of dentistry.
