As Mother’s Day approaches, I wanted to share with you an opportunity that Mint Dentistry is promoting. Mint Dentistry is a company founded on strong Christian beliefs and values. We truly care about our patient’s lives. At Mint, we feel that it is our duty to find ways to give back to those around us. Mint Loves Moms was a dream my husband and I came up with. We thought it would be amazing to find one special, deserving mom and give her an opportunity of a lifetime: FREE veneers. As a mom, I know that mothers are some of the hardest working people in the planet. Together with my team, we are determined to bless a mom that dreams of having the most beautiful smile. Many people nominated special women in their lives. Field and I prayed over every submission. Although all nominations were special and deserving, this particular mom won our hearts last year.
Last year, Neisha Byrd suffered the worst tragedy a parent could ever imagine. Neisha lost her 21 year old son, Cameron, in a horrific car crash. Many people have shared with us beautiful stories of how great her son was…. A polite, respectful, and courteous young man who always had a smile on his face. He would light up the room everywhere he went. He also made it a point to live a godly life and ultimately left such an amazing legacy in this world.
Instead of falling apart, Neisha took this tragedy to showcase the redemptive power of God’s love. She rests knowing that one day, she will be reunited with her son again. Many quoted her saying “Worship is my weapon” to get her through this tough season of life.
Neisha radiates hope, when most would’ve lost their way. She has found renewed strength, peace, and a vibrant savoring of life again through her relationship with Jesus. Neisha Byrd is a hero and such a beautiful example of strength and faith.
Neisha was nominated by her daughter Cailyn. Her daughter knew that if anyone deserved a new reason to smile, it was her mom. They turned to their family, friends and social media for support during the Mint Loves Moms campaign and the response was nothing short of phenomenal. “Because so many people supported me, I felt loved through their nominations,” Neisha said. She currently works at a high school in South Dallas, and has become a second mother to countless students who need direction and guidance.
After the procedure, Neisha couldn’t help but feel as though her life was changed. “I finally felt like my outside appearance now matched my insides. My Mint Family made me feel pretty and confident. Mint Loves Moms came about two months after my son’s death. I couldn’t help but notice that Mint tied in right with my son’s legacy. Cameron’s life was filled with laughter and smiles. I truly am so grateful for the beautiful nomination my daughter submitted for this opportunity. Also, I am blessed to have my husband who keeps my smile fueled. I would also like to thank to my entire Mint Dentistry Family for making the entire process painless and with great purpose.”
