her |həː, hə| pronoun 1 used as the object of a verb or preposition to refer to a female person : She shared her story from her heart.

Sherice Brown is as full of wisdom from within as she is radiant with external beauty. The girls and I at our monthly Equipped by Faith gathering last night were touched as she shared her heart and faith for God with us.

Sherice is the president of two successful businesses, all while working as a fitness coach and nutrition counselor. She married the love of her life, Tim Brown, who is a former Oakland Raider, Heisman Trophy winner, and 2015 Pro Football Hall of Fame Inductee. They have 4 children; Taylor, Timon, and twins named Timothy Jr. and Tamar.

After discovering the freedom to live victoriously by applying God’s word to her life, Sherice desires to help others do the same. At the heart of her ministry is her incredible passion for issues relating to marriage, parenting, and women of all season of life.

I absolutely love Sherice’s heart and passion for the Lord! If you were unable to attend last night’s meeting, take a look through her Q&A and listen to the podcast link below!

Q&A with Sherice Brown

1.) What do you think you were put on this earth for? What’s your biggest dream in life?
I believe I was put on this earth to be a servant of the Lord. By showing service to others, using my celebrity as a platform to reach young, teenage girls and women who have been sexually abused, by helping them with their self-esteem, confidence and a deeper relationship with God.

2.) What are some of the obstacles that you have had to go through to get to this point?
I was sexually abused starting from the age of three until I was a teenager by a close family member. This abuse continued until my family was made aware of the situation.

3.) What motivates/inspires you?
What inspires me is my relationship with the Lord. It gives me inspiration and motivation to be able to face all of life’s obstacles and trials. I receive His mercy and grace daily, and I am so truly grateful for the unconditional love He shows me.

4.) What do you want to be remembered by?
I want to be remembered as a woman who has a heart for the Lord and for women.

5.) What advice would you give other women searching for their purpose, passion & faith?
I would share my favorite scripture with them. Proverbs 3:5-6 says, “Trust in the Lord with all they heart and lean not to they own understanding. In all they ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct they path.”

6.) What has been your greatest achievement in life?
My greatest achievement in life, so far, is being married to an awesome man of God and my children. I was happy to be blessed to have children after experiencing sexual abuse, I wasn’t sure if I would be able to conceive.

7.) How does what you do reflect ministry, and what God placed on your heart to share with the world?
God has placed me into a position of leading women through leading women through my Bible Study Fellowship by sharing God’s Word and wisdom and by praying for them daily.

8.) What books are you reading?
I just finished a book called, “When you Lose Someone You Love: Comfort for Those Who Grieve” by Richard Exley

I’m just starting to read, “Keys of Truth: Unlocking God’s Design for the Sexes” by Cristie Penn

My daily reading is my “Be Still and Know” Devotional

9.) How do you stay encouraged & faith filled?
I stay encouraged and faith-filled by spending time in fellowship with the Lord and meditating daily on God’s Word. I spend time praying, fasting and listening to Joyce Meyer podcasts and Jimmy Evans with Marriage Today.

10.) Favorite Scripture of the moment?
My favorite scripture of the moment is 2 Corinthians 1:3 saying, “Blessed be the God and the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all of our tribulations.”

I just love Sherice and her heart for God and people.

Put God first, and everything else will follow! See you next month for Equipped by Faith!
