It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas in DFW! Last week the weather was unbearable for me! It was so cold that I didn’t ever want to leave the house! Do yall get that way? Thankfully, the weather has dramatically changed and I am ready to face the world again! One thing I love about this time of year is the type of clothes we get to wear. In the winter, comfort is key. There’s nothing like layering simple clothing that makes you look and feel great!
I recently stopped by this adorable bakery in Preston Center. You have got to stop by Carlo’s Bakery! It was featured on the show Cake Boss and is known for its delicious pastries, desserts, and cakes. While decorating for Christmas, my little elves decided to help me. It was so cute watching Camila and Field put up ornaments on the tree. They were being perfect angels, so I decided to reward them with some treats. Not only is this place delicious, it’s the perfect spot to take photos! Always a plus in my book!
Ladies, this jacket is so warm and is under $30! You can wear it with practically anything! I always wear denim on denim, so your options are limitless in my opinion! My favorite part of this look is the flannel inspired dress that I am wearing. It is so comfortable. I wear it around the house with socks and slippers and am good to go! However, I will switch out the slippers for these over the knee boots any day!
If it is still too cold to wear this look next week, thrown on a pair of black leggings that will keep you warm! I love these!
