In a previous post in the Lifestyle Section, I featured the amazing artist, Courtney Miles, who painted this beautiful mural in my home office area. I absolutely love the colors and it serves as the perfect backdrop for photos! (Field joked about it when he said that my intentions to decorate our home was to have photo backdrops everywhere! I mean he isn’t wrong! Haha!) When I was getting ready one day, I knew that this look would be perfect for this mural!
I recently wore this top for Camila’s 2nd Birthday Party. I wore it with this matching skirt that I absolutely LOVE! Her birthday was Coachella themed, so it was the perfect ensemble to wear for it. Seeing that it is such a memorable outfit, I decided to wear these pieces separately, which makes them more versatile.
The trick to wearing a corset on its own, is pairing them with a pair of high rise jeans. That way, you aren’t showing too much skin and feel comfortable throughout the day. I also layered this look with a really oversized denim shirt.
Have you heard about Levi’s Re/Done? They take vintage Levi’s and create new pieces that pay homage to the eras of the past. These high waisted pants are some of my personal favorites. I love the light wash color. They go well with everything! I personally like to wear mine with high heels, but you can totally pair them with sneakers or sandals.
