casino |kəˈsiːnəʊ| noun: a public room or building where gambling games are played. We had so much fun at casino night!
We recently invited some friends and co-workers out to a Casino-themed Poker Night Party at our residence. We brought the excitement and games from the casino experience right into our home, and it was so much fun!
All of our friends brought their poker faces, and joined us for an incredible night of fun, food and gambling with a professional poker dealer. They dressed to impress, wearing only black, red, white and silver attire.
When entering the room, all guests were given $3,000 of “funny money” to play the games for a chance to win one of three Grand Prizes at the end of the evening. They could purchase more money for more chances, if desired.
The Grand Prizes were made up of a few of my favorite things including:
Amazon Echo
Wireless Beats Headphones
Apple Watch.
I love all of these items, and couldn’t wait to see who would win them!
We catered the event using Zoe’s Kitchen for food and appetizers and (my favorite) SusieCakes for cookies and sweets. It was an adult-only evening, but Baby Field somehow ended up there with icing all over his cheeks. *grin* He always seems to find the sweets!
To top it all off, we hired a bartender from JC Bartending. They made custom drinks for our guests and made planning easy on me. Thank you to all who helped, attended, and made this evening so fun!
