charity |ˈCHaritē| noun (pl. charities) an organization set up to provide help and raise money for those in need. Ex: the proceeds of the sale will all go to charity.

Field and I are so honored to be the co-chairs for the upcoming Big Brothers Big Sisters Big Black Tie Ball on October 6th, 2017! As you may know, Big Brothers Big Sisters is a mentoring program that focuses on child development for at risk kids in our community. This program is all over the United States, however, we have partnered with the Dallas division which serves over 2000 children in the metroplex. Dallas is one of the largest chapters in the United States!

This year, Big Brothers Big Sisters celebrates 90 years of serving the children of Dallas. This organization focuses on supporting children facing strong adversity to get through school and life. Funds raised at the ball will directly support the kids who are in the program. I immediately fell in love with this organization because it is all about one on one mentoring relationships.  As a matter of fact, when I first moved to Dallas, I wanted to be a part of it! I actually went through the screening process in order to become a mentor. I have such a heart for the next generation and I know that BBBS will ultimately change the world. They are so beneficial to our community, so when Field and I were asked to help, we jumped at the opportunity!

The Big Black Tie Ball will be held on October 6th at 7pm at the Hilton Anatole in Dallas Texas.  This year, there will be an intimate performance by our special guest, Broadway and Glee star, Matthew Morrison!
