A LOOK INSIDE CAMILA’S BEDROOM

Normally I love to share the different Mint Dentistry offices that my team and I decorate. This time, I thought it would be fun to give you a little tour of my baby girl’s room. Before Camila Rose was born, I remember getting everything ready for her arrival. I wanted to make sure to design a room fit for a princess.  I was having the typical nesting instincts during my pregnancy. I organized her closet and filled it with clothes that I prayed would fit her. I was so ready to meet my baby!

While decorating her room, I knew I didn’t want it all to be pink. Of course, I did want pink accents, but I didn’t want it to be a pink overload. I used a color palette consisting of teal, pink, gold, silver, and white.

What’s a princess room without a crown? I love the crown canopy piece that hangs above Camila’s bed.  The drapes elevate the space and serve as a major focal point to the room. Camila’s teal tufted bed with multicolor bedding is so cute and fun.  Not to mention, so incredibly comfortable! The floor to ceiling curtains are so chic and I have used them as a backdrop for some of my photo shoots! This one in particular!

I love the crib we bought her.  It actually converts into a toddler bed for when she grows up and gets bigger.  You can buy it at Restoration Hardware!   I also love this painting we found that ties everything together!

As far as decor goes, I wanted to stick with easy pieces that weren’t too loud. My favorite is Camila’s name sign that we bought on Etsy!  She absolutely adores her stuffed giraffe

When decorating your girl’s room, make sure it’s something they can grow into for years to come. I can totally see Camila keeping the same deor until she is in high school.  I don’t want to think about it now because I might start crying! They grow up way too fast!
